Just Waiting on A Friend...

This winter was tough for certain. During my darkest days, I didn't think that would ever make it back "home" to Ireland. One day, during a blizzard, I decided to check out things to do while in Dublin. I found new things to do than my previous two visits. Spirit nudged me over to Ticketmaster website to see who was playing. Little did I know that I found out that The Rolling Stones was going to play on my mother's birthday at Croke Park, home to the GAA. Something about seeing the Stones has alway sparked my soul. Music is so healing. Little did I know that I did end up getting the tickets. During the dark night of the soul, I didn't know if I was coming or going while dealing with PTSD. I finally found on You Tube a video of Rolling Stones Live Havana, Cuba 25 March 2016. Honestly, it's a beautiful performance and something with it spark life back into my soul. Music is an incredible healer.  Ironically, The Rolling Stones kicked off their No Filter Europe 2018 Tour! It was never a dull moment at Croke's Park. I listen to many of my favorites, Sympathy for the Devil, Paint It Black, Give Me Shelter, Brown Sugar, Honky Tonk Women and Satisfaction.  It was also my mother’s birthday, 17 May. Thanks Mic for the fireworks! Had a superb night at GAA Crowe’s Park. I also found a photo of my grandmother’s cousin, Edna Colleran, who was a famous GAA footballer from Co Galway!
