Cuban Cafe |
I like to say when I hit MIA when I'm awaiting for a flight to Latin America lately I would end up craving Cuba food & hop on the train to the different terminals to find the best one while waiting for a plane. But today I was not in MIA or en route to Latin America, jut to the Gulf Side of Florida. I flew into Ft. Myers not Sarasota, but on my way home to Placida I made a stop in Punta Gorda for some Cuba Food. I ended up at
Morales Cuba Cafe located at 321 Taylor St., Downtown Punta Gorda. I was quite impressive with the tasty home cook & Cuba feel to the place. It reminded me of a Cuba cafe that I went to in SoHo, NYC years ago. The cafe was spotless, small & charming. It is opened Monday threw Saturday from 8:45AM-8:00PM. The offer everything from chicken, fish, beef & pork dishes, Cuban sandwiches, empanadas, flans, coffee, sangria & much more. They do catering with party platters. Be prepare for a home cook Cuban food with plenty of big portions.
