Oh The Places You'll Go!
Lately, I’ve been thinking about adventures & travels.
That’s what speaks to me to me the most, right from the core. If you catch me
on a good day it will light me up. A friend of mine was asking me about my Antarctica
expedition recently & she told her boyfriend “look she just beams with
light when she talks about it”. It’s not about the label if I went to so &
so & I bought this wonderful T-Shirt to say that I went there. Let me brag
about where I’ve been, no that’s not me one bit. To me the travel is more of
the personal journey for getting from A to B to C. It’s about that quest that
sucks you in that is rich with the call. It’s about the hardships, the
heartaches, the people, places, food, smells, the landscape, the art, the
culture & the scenery. More important it’s about being in the moment. I’ve
been thinking of all the great books, that I’ve read. I just feel like
compiling a list of some of the books that have sucked me to say the least.
Yes, it’s great to get lost in books & carpe deim the underlining message.
