Morning Reflection...

This morning I went down to the beach. Well, one of the few remaining beaches open in Maine, since all the beaches around me suddenly got closed from an executive order by the Governor to protect the people and for the necessary action to implant the rules of the game, social distancing. The air was crisp for an early sunny spring like day, much like those days I remember being back up in Alaska, The Last Frontier. I walked the beach and the breakwater thinking about the book "Man's Search For Meaning" by Viktor Frankl. I read it during a snowy weekend years ago in January. Honestly, I almost spewed while reading the book, not on it's beautiful message, but for the horrors of the Holocaust and how much the people suffer. Where was I, basically, I got thinking with my own grief and range of emotions that I got going on that the people during that time found beauty in the most simple things even tho many of the people would never see their families or friends again before getting burned to death in the gas chambers or die of starvation and malnutrition. Then I got thinking of my affirmation card that I drew this morning "Love Life" as the message and it reminded me to think of the beauty that each moment has for us. Nature is a wonderful teacher and we must listen closely to help us through these challenging times that we are all facing!  We only have this moment, so make the best of it.
