York Art Association's Holiday Fair

Today, I had the pleasure of having my photographic art table at the York Art Association's Holiday Fair (York Art Association ) which took place at the American Legion Hall in York next to the big Hanaford's Supermarket.  I have been quite impressed with how welcoming and supportive the artist co op is.  It was my first holiday fair experience actually & it was quite daunting at first and overwhelmed cos I didn't know what to expect. The crowd was busy in the morning with heaps of lookers and then it died off.  The key was to stay positive and chat with your neighbor during the experience.  I tried some new items today as well, I made some bundles of cards into sets with a theme.  They tend to be a big hit.  Also, it was a debut for my long awaited business cards which showcase my website (Christine Anuszewski Photography).  It was very nice of my family and some friends to come by to show their support.  I'm grateful and appreciated that my family told me that they loved my Galapagos Crabs photo and my photos in general.  It made my day actually. Everyone tends to love the crab photos.  Well, in a couple of weeks I will experience Prelude and hope that it will be a big hit.  I'll be having my stuff showcase at the Maine Women in the Arts (Maine Women in the Arts) show at the Masonic Hall, across from the Post Office in Kennebunkport.  Also, a few of my framed prints are at River Tree Arts (River Tree Arts) for their Prelude Show and not to forget to look for my item that's on the on-line auction that benefits the Kennebunk-Kennebunkport Chamber of Commerce (Kennebunk-Kennebunk Chamber of Commerce).
