It’s been quite the month for sure in Baja with adventures
that you could only dream of or to watch some of the brilliant nature &
wildlife documentaries too. I
can’t explain my last week of sailing in the Sea of Cortez nor can I say that
it has been a traditional work week on
The
National Geographic Sea Bird either cos it sure has not. Nothing is set in stone with the crazy
adventure that I have been on with Sven Lindblad as Expedition Leader or having
Chevy Chase as a guest. It’s been nice to take part in beach/deckk BBQ’s & to
have some fun while working cos my time in Baja has been very busy. I quite
enjoy doing the “photography talk” with National Geographic Photographer Ralph
Lee Hopkins too. Baja oh your amazing to discover threw the lens.

Dolphins |
I had a superb morning watching a couple of super pod of dolphins in
the Sea of Cortez near Isa Rasa with Fin Whales with Blue & Brown Footed
Bobbies & Gulls doing a huge feed! All were feeding for the sardines &
small fish. Amazing to get super close in Zodiacs too! Sweet times in Baja for
sure :) Yes, I spent the morning watching super pods of dolphins from the bow
of the
Sea Bird & in
Zodiacs. Words really can’t
describe the brilliant morning I had cos it’s more of a natural high watching
something that I only have seen in nature documentaries for sure. Amazing & blissful are the best
words to describe my experience. I’m just embracing the moment & enjoying livin’ while I
work!
