| Pink Elephant |
Today, I went to the
Pink Elephant, or simply known as the "Pink" on Boca Grande for a yummy lunch today. Superb food by the way & drinks. Worth your time to explore this true gem of Boca that is owned & operated by the Gasparilla Inn. Also, I took a wee wonder around to the shops. I found a hidden find today on the island, a local shrimp boat was at Widden's Seafood Mart & locals could get shrimp at boat price right from the fisherman. I found out that the shrimp boat makes an appearance once in a blue moon to the island, so it was a real treat to go see it. It was a pretty rustic old groovy place with heaps of "Old Florida" charm.
