Darkest Hours...
During my darkest days I must remember that goodness will come from it...”The most beautiful people we have known defeat, know suffering, know struggle, know loss, and have found their way out of the depths. These person have an appreciation, a sensitivity, and an understanding of life that fills them with compassion, gentleness, and a deep loving concern. Beautiful people do not just happen.”
~Elizabeth Kubler-Ross
Yet, over the course of the past year, I have to remember despite the dark thing that happened to me, there was plenty of goodness. Oh, not to forget, seeing the Rolling Sones in Dublin, visiting a few friends while in Ireland, seeing U2 at the Boston Garden, going to Ireland with my mother so she could meet family, having more photographic sales and services than the previous year, dog sitting and talking the dogs to the beach to watch beautiful sunrises at Goose Rocks, seeing Krishna Das in Portland, becoming an aunt, and most importantly took action into my own hands to start the deeper healing on myself, to name a few of the things that I was able to manifest this past year...
