Asteya can translate from Sanskrit to mean “only using what we need”. This is something we all could be better at practicing, especially when it comes to waste. We live in a world of finite resources and there’s a lot of waste in today’s society that pollutes our oceans, rivers, and soil, and results in valuable resources being buried and forgotten.
