Birthday Reflection...

“In a world where people easily fall under the sway of anger and hatred, we need love, tolerance and contentment. You may have all the physical amenities you need to be comfortable, but it you have no peace of mind, they won’t make you happy. On the other hand, if you have peace of mind, you’ll be happy whether you have those amenities or not.”~ Dalai Lama

Over the course of the week, I have noticed a few things in the news that a couple of celebrities decided to end their lives with suicide. Also, during the course of the week, I have had quite emotions come up for myself. A part of me has died and a part of me has been reborn with each new moment of the days. Day by day, moment by moment. The path isn’t something that comes with a manual from the heaves. It’s just something that comes with each moment.

As, I write this on my birthday, I am wondering a lot of questions myself. Why do we crucify ourselves with the pain from others? Why is it in human nature that we do this? Animals do not do this, but humans as a species do. Do we have to find misery in our own pain and suffering and the pain and suffering of others. The internal darkness of the soul, what gifts do you have in store? Are you teaching the soul to be more vulnerable to be accepted from the soul not from the burdens of the exterior world that we live in? Are you expressing your individuality in a way that you are being target for not be the norm, but your own unique self? Does exposing your gifts have to be painful?
My list of questions can go on and on. If I didn’t question them at times, I realize that I wouldn’t be human or seek out my own growth. I wouldn’t be on a magical red carpet flying around the earth wanting to please others either. But everything is up to me. “Why be bothered with other people’s set-ups? It only lead to torture.” ~Bob Dylan

As, I continue my journey hear on planet earth, I will suck the sweet for certain out of what little time I may have. Places are meant to be explore to their core, none of this let’s go and get a T-Shirt and take our photo kissing the Blarney Stone to say that we have been there. There’s a hidden chord of connection that is calling me to places, I need to explore it. There’s so many of them out there. There’s so much seeing that is done without the eyes. Open up to the heartspace and listen to the voice from within that is calling. Find those moments of joy that make your heart sing, don’t give into the pain of pleasing others-it’s not worth it, drink from the internal fountain of the souls wisdom. There’s so much out there. It’s been buried deep inside waiting to shine. Shine on! It’s time to discover who you came to earth to be.

“Oh very young
What will you leave us this time
Thee’ll never be a better chance to change you mind
And  if you want this world to see a better day
Will you carry the worlds of love with you
Will you ride the great white bird into heaven
And though you want to last forever
You know you never will
(You know you never will)
And the goodbye makes the journey hard still

Oh very young
What will you leave us this time
You’re only dancing on this earth for a short while
Oh very young
What will you leave us this time”
